Christina hails from San Pedro California. A working class fishing town that is an unlikely place for a cyclist. Despite this she is able to make it work. It, refers to her desire and passion to forgo a professional career and go full bore into the beginning ranks of professional cycling. She comes from a diverse background. Originally from Arizona and then making her way to Boston studying and graduating from MIT. In the process she was able to race for the collegiate team and win a national title in cyclocross. After living in Boston for seven years, she made her way to Los Angeles and got on the track. She excelled quickly and has raced many disciplines eventually being able to ride for the United States at the Pan Am Games where she was a medalist. Christina has a singular focus, is fast, a PH.D and has the potential to become one of the next great American cyclists. Also we talk with John Hornbook of the Hincapie Race team on his own Gran Fondo and gravel ride he is putting on in Temecula.
